This was a major renovation of an abandoned, derelict, and dilapidated building site into a charming destination hotel for wedding, events, and meals. The lead designer on the project was Rockwell Group, and we were hired to interpret Rockwell’s mood boards into reality with a focus on local artisans. The overall design inspiration was industrial chic and modern.
The client is a developer and contractor who undertook the entire project with his family to create a destination spot in the then up and coming town of Beacon, NY. Two of his children moved to the area to help run the business. They are a close knit, hard working, family with serious vision.
